Frequently Asked Questions

  • Kids rugby is a team sport where two teams try to score points by carrying or kicking the ball into the other team’s goal area. Players pass the ball backward to move it forward, run with it, and work together to tackle safely, defend, and support teammates. Unlike football, rugby has continuous play, so the action keeps moving! Kids rugby teaches teamwork, strategy, and fair play, all in a safe, age-appropriate environment where fun and learning come first.

  • No! All your kids need is a desire to learn and a love for team sports. A background in soccer or football would help, but the whole team will be learning the game together.

  • Safety is our top priority in Mana Rugby. The game is modified for each age group, with rules designed to reduce contact and prevent injuries. Coaches teach proper techniques for passing, tackling, and playing safely, and all practices and games are supervised. As in any sport, there are risks. Rugby is a safe, fun, and active sport where kids can build confidence, learn teamwork, and stay active while having a great time on the field.

  • The registration fee is:
